So I had my Logan on my keychain for about a month before I pulled it out of my pocket hard enough to bend open the stock split ring enough to destroy it. I went on a search for some beefier solid brass split rings that I could buy in small quantities, picked up 2 different sizes and figured I'd share my find here for the benefit of others who've broken their wirey stock one, or may just want to replace it. I don't have the original one to compare (you can see on the RMSK site), but these seem like proper thick gauge split rings with flattened facing sides, rather than just coiled wire.
You can order 3/4" and 1" rings in any quantity from this site, though 1" seemed a bit large so I didn't grab any.

You can also order 1/2" rings from here (half way down the page), but the smallest order is 10 rings for $3.40. I'm using one of these because it seems plenty sturdy and takes up a little less space.

The 3/4" ring is a good deal thicker and tighter. I think the 1/2" is still plenty strong though.
