Hi!
I just decided to start 'mod lights' with mag solitair. This is my first attempt to mod a light. I was totally unfamiliar with electronics but this forum made me to think of Volts, ohms, and stuffs like that.:D

Please introduce me a nice way to make my solitaire way brighter and long-run!

Joseph,

You have chosen one of the least mod friendly lights. The dimensions are very tight, and the electonics are hard to find that are small enough to fit. The larger mags (mini-mag epsecially) are quite easy to mod.

That said, there is a super small converter at the Sandwich shop that appears to
be small enough to fit.

My first LED mod was a solitaire. I put a 3mm led in it and powered it from an A21 (12 volt) battery with a resistor. It wasn't real bright but it lasted a lOOOOOONG time. It was my EDC for years.

Now I'd probably take out the reflector and put in a 5 or 8 mm LED. That may or may not cause problems with the switch mechanism.

Good luck

Daniel
