Source for custom form fit sheaths?

I just bought a Canon S100 off a fellow CPF member. Thanks BobVA !! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I plan to EDC the camera, sence it is about the size of a pack of smokes... maybe smaller.
I was planning on just slipping it into my pocket, which would probably be fine,
but for those days where I have other things in my pocket with it, I dont want it to get scratched up.

I dont want to buy some leather case or anything like that, for one I might not find one that is made just for it, or is as small as it could be.

I was thinking about those custom formed "plastic" sheaths that are made for knives,,, and lights. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
That way, its just a thin layer of "plastic" over the caera, but its also very strong, and would prevent scratches.

Does anyone know a place that does custom sheaths?
I assume, they would need me to send them the camera,, which Im not to happy about . :P

If anyone has an idea for an alternative, thats fine also, but keep in mind, I want to keep this super small.

The Canon PSC-50 soft leather case is pretty snug on the camera. I had one for my s110 which is the same size as yours. You can find them online for about $15. I got mine from dell online. I just traded the s110 and case to glock_nor_cal. Maybe if you contact him, he could put up a good pic of it so you could see the size better than the canon pic.

Jtice, the soft leather case for the Elph Jr. fits the S100 perfectly. That's what I have myself and it's very nice. I think this is the same case.

Canon now includes a ritzy Coach case with the current digital Elph but that gets pretty fancy.

If you want a hard leather case, www.kameraleder.com can make one for you. That is top quality stuff.

I know one of fellow forumites, tsg68, does custom kydex sheath work -- I saw a sheath he made for a Strider GB which was well-thought-out and well-made. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif Maybe he could do something with a camera, although I'm not sure heat and compression would be good for a digital camera. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
