Source for GITD tailcaps?

I've been buying tailcaps on DX. In the past the orange, black and GITD green were all identical. I just ordered 200 green tailcaps (same SKU as before) but they are NOT the same friggin' product. The little post on the inside is much shorter and the cap is less domed.

In the past I also ordered the green and blue GITD that I would describe as "short" and "flat top." The caps I recently got are not these caps either. So, it's a bit of a mystery why the new caps are different. The short story is they will not fit my lights.

Is anyone familiar with the black/orange/green DX caps and do you know any other source for the same size caps?

Just a SWAG, but shops that offer the lowest price often buy from the CSOLR (Chinese supplier of last resort). When that supplier has a price increase, DX switches to another CSOLR, whose product might or might not be interchangeable with the first. If the first supplier made a green cap & the second supplier makes a green cap, those parts are interchangeable, never mind that they don't fit :)

Alternately, is there any market here for tailcaps? Hard to compete with DX but are there any features people would like to see? I know some folks in the injection molding biz.

Crazy colors? Transparent? CPF logo/letters on it? Special dimensions? For mcClicky? GITD in other colors like red?
