Hi,
I am planning on upgrading one of my lights which will have an SSC P4 LED driven by a 14500 Li-ion rechargeable. I was looking at driving this at 100ma if possible. To do this I need to find a driver that will fit into an AA sized flashlight (14500 is about approximately this size).

Does anyone have a suggestion for a suitable driver that would fit size wise and deliver 1000ma in single mode.

Many thanks
Mark

Hi,
Thanks, that looks like a nice option.

Have you used this driver board.

If so how have you found it as a driver for 3.7v out of a 14500.

Thanks
Mark

I have not used the GD1000, but I have used the GD917 (close to 1A), GD500 and GD400 boards. All of them work very well with 3.7V. I have also used these boards to built a few lights using three 1.5V alkaline cells.
