Sourcing a Aspherical MAG Led Kit...

it seems the one on KD has been sold out for going on forever and I have uncrossed my fingers in hopes they would get another batch in...can someone please point me to a drop in type alternative to the one on KD. Thanks.

Your going to have to build one yourself.

The lens can be sourced from CVI Melles Griot, Part number LAG-52.0-37.0-C
As for the light enigne, start off with an emitter, the Cree R2 or Q5 being the
first choice, heatsink, which are on sale here (search for H22 ). Then depending
on your choice of cell, some kind of driver board

KD stocks the M@G kit a bit less often than the Malkoff M@G drop-in is in stock (joke). Still, you'd think that someone (hint) would gather the bits and package a basic single LED M@G conversion kit. OTOH w/ all the possible cell configurations is there a good "universal" buck/boost driver to handle 1.2V - 12V (w/ multiple mode) to keep the package simple?

Those photos look familiar - and the text actually mentions KD. I am 99% sure that is just a forwarding site.

If you look at the 'About Us'-section you'll see that this is the company which manufactures the stuff like the aspherical kit and the lens for KD. Maybe the sell it also to individuals.
