Spark headlamp touch flash bug

I have a Spark ST5-190NW. It's a REALLY nice headlamp and works just about exactly as I had thought it would.

But it has this one odd behavior that I'm calling a bug in the design:

If I leave the lamp turned off and sitting by itself for 10 minutes or so it will exhibit the bug. The bug is when I just touch the switch, it flashes the LED. Not a click. Not a press. Just the touch of skin to the switch. ...and it doesn't turn on. It just flashes. Once. Doesn't do it again unless you leave it sitting for 10 more minutes or so. It does this nearly every time. In the morning if I pick it up and touch the button before the body, it flashes at me.

Anyone else seen this on the ST5 or other Spark products?

It doesn't bother me much. I'm just curious about it.

It sounds like one of the control FETs is turning on briefly due to electrostatic discharge. Put the light in a bathroom before you take a shower or bath. After you exit the shower, and the light has been sitting 10 minutes or so, touch the light and see if it exhibits the same brief flash. Chances are that it will not.
