For sale or trade:

Mac's Sceptre from the newer run with the red LED in the center.

*6x Cree Q5 Bin WC LED's
*1x Cree Red LED
*7x Mcr17XR Reflectors
*Custom Anodized Heatsink
*2-Stage resistored tailswitch
*UCL Lens
*Premium FiveMega battery holder for 6xR123 cells

Light is setup to draw 150ma on low. Estimated output is approximately 350 lumens with over 4 hours runtime

On high the light draws 650ma for and estimated output of over 1100 lumens and over an hour runtime

I love this light, and really don't want to part with it, but I like Ti, and I keep seeing lights I want but don't have the paypal for, so...

Light is in near mint condition. There are a couple of tiny scratches near the tailcap and super-light handling marks on the head, but very close to NIB (even though these lights don't come in a box!). I have carried it for dog walking & light-sabre-ing, but not much wear&tear has happened to this light.

Oh yeah---batteries included to! 6 Ultrafire R123 cells (dated 3/08). I recharged them once during my owning this light (at Thanksgiving). Since I don't own a Triton2 charger, I can't really go balls out and use this light like I should!

$420 ($400 now) priority mail shipped to the lower 48 states. Paypal cash please.

Ask any questions! PM with trade offers if wanted. I like McGiz, TB, Cool Fall. No production lights please.

Thanks,

Joseph

Re: WTS or WTT: Mac's Sceptre (RED) Booyah!

Thanks PSM. This is your old torch. I don't want to sell it, but it seems like more stuff comes along every day that I would really like to have. And even though this is my most powerful light, I just don't need this super light. Ah, who knows, maybe I'll come to my senses & gobble one up again in the future.

Re: WTS or WTT: Mac's Sceptre (RED) Booyah!

This is a great light! So compact that it fits nicely (bezel-up) into your hip pocket. For so compact a light the beam is simply unbelievable in its intensity, coverage, and wonderful tint, with a high CRI due to the red center LED. Not to mention Mac's impecable workmanship. I don't have much use for mine either, but simply can't bring myself to part with it. This light will definitely not disappoint!

PM sent to PSM. Interesting trade!

Everyone, this light is still available!

I need the cash right now, so I am going to sell my MM instead of trading with Joseph. I can say this as a former owner of a Sceptre, this light rocks and it is worth every penny!

Sorry to F up this sales thread Joseph! :stupid:

Re: WTS or WTT: Mac's Sceptre (RED) Booyah!

Indeed, the Sceptre is one of the best medium-sized lights out there right now. The volume of light just blows me away and the red LED really helps with color rendition. Almost as warm as a Malkoff M60W. It also has a surprising amount of throw for a multiple LED light.

Somebody get this light at the price and you will be very happy!

Re: WTS or WTT: Mac's Sceptre (RED) Booyah!

Happy day-after-the-superbowl! Great game last night. I have been driving all weekend long, my sister is having a baby, and all is right with the world.

No problem PSM, the thread is OK!

How about a little lee-way to $400 even. If anyone is on the fence, get off!

I really like the Ti Aeon. I have a few Nautilus models, but I like the CR2 model. Anyone?

The Mega Micro sounds like a cool model too. Anyone?

Peace,

Joseph
