It works. I had two plastic reflectors that had scratches all over them from trying to use high domes in them. I sanded all of the silver colour away, polished the surface with chrome paste and sprayed something called chrome-effect-spray on it. The surface now looks very nice. It's not as shiny as the normal textured reflectors so I guess I may loose some light but I can't see a big difference in overall brightness in my wolfight mod. The hotspot is a little less defined but I think the sidespill is a bit brighter now. Together with my self-made polycarbonate lens the wolflight now has a perfect beam. I will post pictures of the beam and the reflector later this day or tomorrow.

pictures were taken with different camera settings, the sputtered reflector is not brighter than in stock condition it's just a different beam.
