Has anyone modded a spy 007 with a nichia 219? Im looking for my first spy now and i love the 219 led. I highly prefer neutral or warm tints but am finding most of the spys around are cool tint. Im wondering if i should pick up a cool xp-g and have a 219 swapped in. Thanks for any responses.
 
I have a XPG Spy that I had modded with a High CRI XPG. The tint was too amber looking & I had the emitter swapped out again with a Nichia 219. Much better! I think the 219 has the best tint out there.

I also recently bought a XP-G 007 that had been swapped to the Nichia 219. I have to say it's got the nicest beam of any light I've ever owned, including the high CRI Haiku I used to own. Go for the 219, you won't be dissapointed!

etherealshade had bought the Spy007 that I had upgraded to a 219 and he is spot on - it's a wonderful looking beam. Great color and a nice neutral tint coming from the McR18 reflector.
 
Again thanks for the responses. My spy finally landed and shes beautiful. Im thinking its going to go out for the 219 pretty soon. Only other problem i really need to address is the method of carry. Any light with no clip, for me in the past, has been a deal breaker. But this is such an awesome light that i need to figure out what to do about this.

The SPY 007 with a Cree XP-G2 in bright white color goes on sale tomorrow. The Light is the standard 007 with the STFu MK-I with the new XP-G2 emitter(gen 2). The emitter is bright white with a bin of R5 1A.
