Hi guys!
A few months ago I bought a SSC P7 from DX and fell in love with it. Took it diving a couple of times and everything was going well. Then, one day, out of the blue, it died on me. Stopped working completely. I checked the batteries on a friend’s light and they were fine. So I thought my light had died.
After reading numerous posts on here I decided to take my light apart and check things out. I even cut the spring by ¾ of a turn. I put everything back in its place, dropped the batteries back in and then there was light! I couldn’t believe it! But soon after I realized it was stuck on ‘HIGH’, the rotating switch wasn’t working anymore. I then retook it apart, checked the magnet and it seemed fine. The light turns on as soon as the battery cap spring touches the negative side of the 2nd battery, and the only way to turn the light off is to remove the batteries.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anybody know how to fix this? I’m happy that my light is working again but I’d rather have a fully working light!
