There is not a sticky in this forum about fundamentals of DIY LED solutions, so I'll ask.
I've been searching for a solution for eave lighting for a couple of years now.
I thought there might be a commercial solution available but can't find anything that I like either in cost or features or form.
Low eaves makes me not want a surface mount and a shallow pitch roof make a deep recess not an option.
I did find the post DIY Cree Eave Lighting (http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?326815-DIY-Cree-Eave-Lighting) and that's what I was looking for (at least very close).
Especially the PVC bushing option in the #1 post.
Since this is my first LED project (I have AV experience) what reading do I need to do to make this work?
This is as much a learning experience as fixing a problem. I don't know if all the parts are listed or if something obvious (to everyone but me) was skipped over cuz it's obvious.
So I appreciate your advice.
Parts list, wiring diagrams, cautionary recommendations are all welcome.
