I had an inside word about this light almost two years ago, but it was hushed-up by S.L.

What's interesting is Streamlight's continued use of Nicd cells, probably for compatability with existing Stinger chargers.
Also cool is a hi/low/strobe function. I'm hoping these are activated by switch times (like the Survivor LED) and not through switch cycling (like a twin-task).
