I'm looking for a light that won't roll away while I'm change a flat or worse. Are there any owners of the Streamlight Cyclone out there?

Oh, man, for sure!!
I have the alkaline version of the Syclone, in olive drab. It has a single LED (in my case green) that shares the same big reflector as the primary Xenon. The two way switch is sure and positive. Over all construction is rugged. Yes, it will sit flat and allow you to position the tilting head where you want it. I have used mine in outdoors applications hiking at night with it clipped to my belt. The LED alone is enough to illuminate the trail in front of you with good confidence. The green LED was good for outdoor use, as well. I opted for the alkaline version because I won't use it enough to justify the rechargable battery. I am a real fan of this one. However, because of its size and shape, it does not lend itself well to carrying in your jacket pocket or anything like that. This light is best served in a back pack, trunk emergency kit, desk drawer, kitchen cabinet, etc. (IMHO)

Would you say that it's (2X)bright that a MiniMag AA?

Trust no shadow but your own.

Well, the Syclone is 4 AA. I was wrong when I mentioned it has a Xenon bulb. It is actually Krypton. Nonetheless it is rather accommodating. I would say that easily it is 2 or 3 times better than a MiniMag AA. Streamlight advertises 6000 candle power, while Maglite only advertises 2200 (peak) candle power. Plus, with the Syclone's much larger reflector / head you get much more "ambient" light. It will easily fill your work area, room, or that flat tire you mentioned. Plus, it can take a beating if you drop it, rolls under the car, etc.
