I have an SL35 around somewhere. These used the older sleve type charger, unlike the SL-35X setup's. Some of the newer NiMh D's have well over 10 Amp hours. I should dig my SL-35 out.

I sent him a pm the day it arrived. I have one in my SL-20X but would like to upgrade the 35 as well. It's too bad there is not much active interest in drop in mods for the SL series and MagCharger. I would like to pot a stock reflector with a WA1160 but were does one find that high temp epoxy or what ever it is?

I can wholeheartedly second this. I purchased one of JS' kits from another member and WOW! If you can find a SL-60 kit, buy it! Then you can go one step further and put together a 8 X 1/2D stick and replace the ring potted WA1160 that JS makes with one of his ring potted WA1185's. This is my current project (obsession). I have the stick made, bought the charger and now just need the ring potted WA1185's. When they arrive, it will be Christmas all over.
