I've always been happy with and have recommended the Teralux STE-ST LED conversion for the incandescent Streamlight Stinger, which, as issued, suffers from a dim, yellow beam. The Teralux was an A for brightness, but B for color, and a gentleman's C for the beam.
I bought another and am happy to report that the color and beam pattern have been significantly improved. The color is much less blue and the beam is a B+, downgraded for rings around the hotspot. Brightness is the same, which probably now means an A- by XPG standards.
Also better: the price from Lighthound was $26.
