I have a well worn Streamlight Stinger. The switch on it stuck on last night. Do some of the Streamlight dealers still do free reapirs on something like this or will I have to ship it back to Streamlight?
On some lights, it's possible remove the switch assembly by unscrewing the charging contacts and sliding the switch out. If you can do that, you might be able to get it unstuck if it's not really broken.
I use walk in Streamlight warranty shops in my area, which is in CA. Go to Streamlights web site and click on warranty shops. I have had Stinger switches replaced at no cost. Sent it in if you do not have any warranty stations near you.
