What options exist for a strong UV flashlight?

What wavelength do you need? 415nm isn't UV, it's deep violet. There are also 405nm laser diodes if you don't mind the weird-shaped output of a raw diode. 365nm is the more exotic UV that is less visible but still causes many things to fluoresce. these LEDs are typically pretty pricy. Liteize (?) used to sell some, I don't know if he still does or not. I think this is them: www.cobbcarpet.com
