Sunforce HID modding question

I have the intention to buy a Northern Tools Sunforce 25 Mcandlepowers HID spotlight (which should be the "thrower" of the Sunforce family).

Then I'd like to mod it by just putting a 55W HID lamp instead of the standard 35W.
Question is: do I need to change ALSO the ballast or the input/output values of the ballast/transformer are the same and can be used on both the 35 and 55W lamp?

You will need to change the balast and also the igniter if it's seperate from the bulb.
