Sunwayman V10R vs V10A: Same head design?

I have searched and asked to no avail. Anyone have both of these lights? I'm guessing that the heads are the same and probably the circuitry? Figure just the battery tube is a different size, can someone please confirm or deny for me. I was kinda hoping the AA version would be a bit slimmer.
