I bought two Inova Microlights long ago when target had the green ones on clearance and got them for $3 each. they have 3 modes generally high/low/strobe. I never used it a lot because of the green LED but they came with 2 2016 lithium cells so I decided to try and mod one with a white LED.
You can pop out the entire circuit board by prying the black plastic LED holder bar with a thin screwdriver or knife and the hole thing falls out. I figured I would have to unsolder the LED and solder a white one in. After removing the solder from the back of the circuit board and trying to wiggle the green LED it came out. but the LED had broken off with really short leads? no?
I soldered the two leads back to the circuit board after I realized that there is a socket for the green LED and you can just cut another LED and swap it into it easily. So this light is definately kewl as you can change LEDs at a whim in a minute without soldering.
