Surefire 6P Bezel Ring Thread Pattern?

Does anyone know the thread pitch of the bezel ring? I don't have the tool with me and am wanting to replace that crappy plastic ring and make a flush aluminum one.

I don't like the beam pattern of the spill.

It has the thread pitch for a G2 (16tpi, 6 threads). Not sure if that is for the tailcap or bezel. If that's the case, might the bezel ring be the same pitch for the 6P? They can be interchangeable.

You will need the diameter as well as the pitch. Since you have a caliper you can check the number of threads in an inch, 1/2 or quarter inch to verify the TPI. In this case math IS your friend.
