Does anyone know if just the top part ss will screw into my existing 6p bezel? i would rather keep my original bezel and only add the crenulatd shieny part ,meaning will the threads match up and will it hold the lens in like original plastic ring does?

,i just got my first surefire today and i love it ,, i think it is one of my
favorites ,, now i want to dress it up, lol

btw everything i have found is for the whole aftermarket bezel i just want to use the end piece

thanks

I know what you're talking about (solarforce) and no, it will not work.

Sorry.

Look at the next post down!

I found a seller for these. He want's $20 for the ring and tool including shipping. I have no relation to the seller, just thought I would show what I came across.

I've seen that before but I have 0 experience with it.

I wish the seller would set up shop on the Marketplace for us. Then I'd feel OK recommending it.

x2 or at least list them on ebay where there is some sort of feedback system. Maybe I'll email him to list them there

I bought 2 of those bezel tools last year. There should be an old thread about them that had an email address for him. The tools fit perfectly on Surefire 6P and G2L bezel lens retaining rings.

ooh i like that one better , it appears to have a lower profile actually than the solarforce one,, and thanks sgt. for understanding what i was saying, lol i did search but nothing came up for just that small piece , lol

I have one of those, and it's a perfect fit on my C2 HA. Couldn't be happier.
:twothumbs

The guy is interested about listing them on ebay. I'll post up the link once he sends me the info.

I'd sure like a few of those with some tritium slots milled in them and more subdued crenulations. Sort of like these ones, but for the surefire C heads.

I wonder if he could make a flat one?

that would be easy actually ,, just put that sucker on a belt sander and grind down the teeth and then polish it out or use steel wook to put a sating finish on it or even a fine grit sandpaper,, it will get hot when it does dip it in water and go at it some more, lol

i did this to my lf3xt

I have done it myself many times to SS bezels but I do it by hand with sheets of sandpaper.
No tools.
It takes alot of time and I was just hoping for something easy for once. Oh well, just have to put in the extra effort to get what I want again.
