Welcome to CPF. I don't know about Australia there but some Supermarkets here in California carries them. Very Expensive though!!! Your best bet is to purchase through the internet. Someone here may know of one or two suppliers that will ship to you.

You can get CR123As in quite a few places but they can be very expensive. You should plan to buy batteries via mail order to get a good price.
