surefire E1e E2e and KL1 combo

Received my E1e a few days ago from CPF market, it is an old school version with 3 flat body and a twisty tail, small enough for EDC, however, not bright though. I am thinking about whether should I purchase a KUKU E-tower drop in? Can anyone tell me the runtime with high and low mode? I found that the current is around 800-200-5ma, I just wondering the regularity and runtime with high mode.

Alright, here are the figs, heavy as usual. Sorry about the image quality due to a cell phone camera...

brucejiang,
What little I found in a search for runtime for the Veleno is here:
http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...6-Veleno-Designs-E-Series-Tower-Dropin-Review , between about 1/3 and 1/2-way down the page.

I have been thinking about picking up a older 'ribbed' KL1 myself. I like that it will handle either one or two primaries (and possible 2 RCR123a's?). The older KL1 on the e1e format has an interesting look, and the increased length might make it a little easier to hold onto, more like length of the L1. If I get one, I would consider having it modded, as long as it would retain the same voltage flexibility. Brighter would be nice.

Your cellphone pics look a lot better than my cellphone pics.

Thanks a lot novice for the link.

To my knowledge, old KL1 can bear 2-9V, so CR123A, 2XCR123A, 17670, 2XRCR123A will nont be a problem.

the original E1e is too amll to hold, with KL1, it's much better
