Surefire E1L Clip Question: Removable?

Hi everyone,

Quick question for anyone who has, or had a Surefire E1L Outdoorsman:

Is the clip intended to be removable? I've not been able to find this out either way from the literature on their site.

I guess I searched for the wrong things, "removable" rather than "removing"
