Hi All,

Newbie here looking for a nice flashlight just to have for various tasks, wondering if anyone had suggestions, like the Surefire e2e size though being discontinued limits options for availability, not overly concerned with price but don't want to spend more than I would have to to get something top quality (preferably under $200 if I can..)

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

bozack Welcome to CPF. With a $200 budget you can get a nice light. I recommed a bored out 18650 Surefire 6P with a Nailbender XML drop-in and recommed AW18650 lithium ion rechargable batteries. The e2e is great but you are limited on the mods you can make. The combinations on a p60 based light are endless. You should have money left to buy a charger I recommed a Ultrafire WF-139 (works for me) and add on a McClicky, clip, bezel ring etc. Dont forget to read up on the dangers of using Lithium Ion batteries.

BIGLOU's recommendation is a nice one. I run this exact setup as my camping light, and I also have a clip on it for bezel down carry. For EDC thought I love the e-eries and you maybe able to pick one up thats been converted or modded to an LED on the cpfmp.
