Does anyone have the part number of that black plastic shim that goes behind the pocketclip? I did some searches, but was not successfull in finding it.

they don't seem to be listed in Surefire online site by name or by number. I'm not sure what kind of search criteria provides results on their site. Shim, shims, switch, plastic, clip, clips, 15289-1, using these resulted with no matches.

It is unlikely that such a part would ever be featured on SureFire's shopping site. SureFire have thousands of parts and calling SureFire will give you a better chance of getting hold of it.

I just emailed surefire about 4 days ago and asked for the plastic wedge that goes under the pocket clip and behind the bezel on the E series and I just got them today they sent 4 pcs. at no charge. SUREFIRE has the best customer service /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Mine don't seem to have this part. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif What's it's design purpose? Is this the change to make it a little more watertight?

Besides the one that Dan provided to me (thanks Dan), I needed a few more. Today, I got the 6-additional wedges from SureFire (no charge).
