Surefire G2-BK and KL3?

If I put a KL3 on my G2-BK will it put out more or less light? What's the run time on the KL3?

I have asked about the G2 KL3 combo before. People have done it and it works. I called Surefire and asked for a LED head for the G2 and they said the KL3 works on it.

Should put out the same amount of light as any of the 2 cell lights.

Not quite.
The KL3 is barely brighter that the KL1 and nowhere near as bright as the stock G2.
There have also been compatibility problems between the G2 and the KL3. Sometimes the spring of the KL3 doesn't quite make contact with the metal sleeve of the G2 and needs some end-user adjustment.

OK..........I guess you misunderstood my post.
The KL3 should put out the same amount of light no matter which (compatible) light you put it on.
