Surefire g2 plastic head led?

Did they ever make them? Or did led only come metal head?

They made some with the P60L with plastic heads

Yes. The 80L model included a thermal output reducer, the combination of which prompted the changing of the design over to metal bezels. The 120L model came well after this.
