why not just get the KL3 for your G2 then you'll have no more problems with the melting lenses? heh! but if you use the battery for storage in a backpack or suitcase for long periods. it's also pretty good to switch the last battery around, therefore it cannot complete the circuit since i know the negative ends have a spacer in the batteries i have.
