The only difference I see is the body. G2x has the Nitrolon (polycarbonate) body and the 6PX Pro has an aluminum body. Why do people prefer one over the other?
 
Nitrolon isn't shiny and holds up to abuse more like a cerakote finish, it also stops looking new quite a bit faster. Buy the 6px if you want a prettier light.
 
Metal doesn't feel as comfortable as plastic during winter if you are not wearing gloves?
