Surefire KR2 rechargeable conversion question

I wonder if the KR2 setup on a 6P will power a KL3 properly? Anyone tried this setup? Will the clickie still work once the 6P is converted?

The KL3 works on the 7Z powered by the B65 NiCad.
It's too long for actual use in my opinion though.
The E1e+KL1 is also 'free' light because I power it with my used SF123As.

Thanks for the reply Al, I'm not sure what a 7Z is though. It's looking less likely that I'll opt for the conversion for the 6P based on the excessive length.

The 7Z is a rechargeable combat light, basically a 6R with combat grip. These were made a long time ago and aren't produced anymore.
