Surefire L1 compared to the A2???

I really enjoy my Surefire L1 probably more than I should, but I need a little more power on the high output stage. The A2 looks like a natural progession for me.

For those that have both, how much brighter is the A2 than the L1 on high mode. Also, are the low outputs similar? I don't suppose anyone has coparison beam shots.

Also, can someone take side by side pictures of them so I can see a comparison in size?

The A2 on high mode is about like your E2e.
The A2 on low is a little brighter than low on L1, maybe
half way between L1 low & L1 high.
I just did a quick check & this is my impression.
I hope this helps. I EDC ARC LSH-p & ARC AAA & A2.
The A2 replaced my E2e,but the KL4 just didn't have enough
thro for me to replace the A2. The only negative for the A2
is it's a little long for cliping in front pants pocket. I
carried it this way for awhile but went to a belt pouch &
this works for me. The A2 with 3 LEDs gives me a long
runtime option, & complements my EDC.
