Surefire photographic flashes?

Does Surefire develop/sell photographic flashes?

I have never heard of this before, but heard it faintly in a conversation with some photo hobbyist this week.

surefire doesnt always mean flashlights, ya know..

perhaps your photographic enthusiast friend mean sure-fire...like its a surefire way to get good lighting.....
