No one can get a SF Supressor, it's against Federal and most state's law...

Since when? Something special about SF's suppressors?
Paperwork, a $200 transfer fee, and maybe some shipping or dealer costs.
Suppressors are legal in 42 states, btw.

Yeah, suppressors are legal enough in most places, you just have to jump through some crazy hoops to get one and pay a transfer tax.

In many countries they're not restricted, and are seen as a good way of keeping down the noise pollution / hearing damage when hunting and target practicing.

Dano,
So very wrong my good friend. A PITA? Yes thanks to NFA '34 and GCA '68 and of course BATF, but completely legal Federally and legal in the vast majority of the 50 States. Sound Suppressors are Class III items like Machineguns, Short Barreled Rifles and Shotguns, Any Other Weapons and Destructive Devices as per the 1934 National Firearms Act. HTH
