Hi Forum,

a question about the Z58: this clickie tailcap, does it have the same outer diameter as the C2/C3 series? I know the Z48 will work as a clickie tailcap on these, but it is a lot bigger in diameter. I prefer a tailcap that is about the same size as the non-clickie one, like the Z57 is for the E2e.

Thanks, guys.

Chris.

Ehh,and also: what is the difference between the Z58 and the Z59? Is that HA and black respectively?

Thanks again, Chris.

Yep, the Z58 is the same diameter as the original tailcap. I tried one on my M2, which is the same diameter as the C2/3. As to the Z59, i cant find any reference to it anywhere. It could be the black version for the 6P, Z3 etc.
It might even be the part number for the new crenelated clickie on the E2D.

Thanks! Just what I wanted to hear..

On the Z59, I myself have no idea what it is, other than that the Surefire 2004 downloadable catalogue lists two possible clickie tailcaps for the C3: the Z58 and the Z59, so I was just guessing it might be a non-HA version..

Thanks, Chris.

Ditto to the above. The Z58 works on the C2/3 and Z2/3. Just double-checked. It didn't work on my G2, but I may have an odd G2.

The Z58 looks almost identical to the stock LOTC.
