So which one? I'm leaning toward my first SF for the LIFETIME warranty. Then again they are vaporware right now so I don't need to bother my head about it, much less my wallet /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/broke.gif

Well that sure makes the descision harder. I think in that case I will have to stick with Peter. His support of and availability on CPF sure makes him more flashaholic friendly .

Strange thing about warranties - the company needs to be around to honor that warranty, and I have much more confidence in Surefire than Arc to stick around 10-15 years. Don't get me wrong, I love Arc flashlights and their design philosophy, but there's no way they have anywhere the installed user base of Surefire.
