Hi,

I bought a LGI from MrBulk and use it for a light on my bicycle. I love the light, but the switch is "flakey" (Charlie put a little note in the LGIs saying this may be an issue).

So, I can either call Brinkmann and get a new switch or replace it with something more reliable. I only turn the light on/off once per trip, so twisty is fine. I just want something reliable (and raindrop resistant). What are my options?

Thanks for any help.
Dale

Brinkmann customer service is supposed to be pretty good..just have them send you a new one..should be covered under warranty and won't cost you much if anything

Yeah once I even got TWO from'em! Also I believe the Kroll might (and I say Might) work, not all and not on all Brinks, butsometimes they do thread in far enough. It's not the same threading but the Kroll has nylon threads and sometimes, just sometimes...

Dale,

Since I didn't care for the Brinkmann, I made the Kroll work on the Legend AA.
Look Here...

I have had no problems with using them on the SLGI or the Lambda Illuminator HD Pro (my EDC), and I like the fact that it improves water resistance.

Hope this helps - John

Thanks for your suggestions Banshee, Charlie, and John.

John, I like your mod. Thanks for sharing. I'll give it a try.
