I am in the beginning stages of a lighting project that could benefit from having a wireless switch to activate it.

Do you know if such a thing is available as a component - just a short range radio-controlled push once for on, again for off switch set? If so, do you know price and source?

Thank you.

Paul

I have used a home panic RX/TX for this. The TX is a simple one or two button remote much like the one for your car and the RX is a 12/24V unit that can be run off a battery or an AC/DC adaptor.

The RX can be set to latching or momentary.

You will be able to pick up an RX/TX combo from any alarm supply store for $20 or so.

Lux,
OK, I have done that.

Streak,
Sounds like a good option, I'll look around.

Thanks.

I know you are probably sick of the X10 pop under adds, but they have some ok and cheap equipment for doing this type of stuff.
