hey all
i was looking to get a tacticle style HID, and was looking at some on ebay.com

These look pretty good but there are many that look identical and all various prices? are some copies??
Im pretty limited in my knowledge when it comes to HID so any help is much appreciated.

The price of this one is around what im looking at. under $200 with postage.

Yes, they're all pretty much the same light.

What's more important is where you're buying it from. If the SHTF you have to send it all the way back to China. If the light was being sold by a US distributor, then they can help you out immediately (I assume you live in the US).

hmmmmm, no im in oz. i have done a bit of reasearch and i think that a smaller 24w-26w may be the way to go. still deciding???
i know im being a tight *** with the amount but i dont have the spare coin to get a light i really want! eg SR90
any ideas? im after something with reasonable throw as well as heaps of light

There is the 50W that's available on eBay for US $170, that's a good deal. By $200 were referring to AUS$ or $US?

Pref AUS but it doesn't matter really. We are just about dollar for dollar at the moment, take about 6c.
The 50w does look pretty awsome, pretty big though.
Does anyone have much experience with the 24w HID's on ebay? or ones around that $200 mark on the net?
I have reasearched a few threads but i was wondering if there were any better than others for spotting?
I was also considering the Thrunite Catapult V2 but thought i would reasearch and consider a HID.

After so many bad reviews I would not recommend it neither, get yourself and N30 for $170.

yeh cheers guys, i was just reading through some threads about them, not good!
Ill steer clear of the ebay no namers.
Is the N30 considerably better than the stanley?
any other considerations to look at?
