Every now & then you get lucky, and I won a recent auction ... but the good part is that someone gets my old, imported, 52 piece set (sized for mill-drill, which means 12 mm thread on the studs) for the price of a USPS large Priority Mail box - $12. T-nuts are not included, so you need to pick up half a dozen T-nuts with 12 mm thread, sized to fit the T-slots on your mill.

I will wait till this evening just in case someone really NEEDS this set. Don't get me wrong, I will put them to good use! My current set is somtimes not enough. I just figure that I can do without if I need to. :)

I would love to know where to find these eccentric allen head screws alone to make my own fixtures.

Pablo

They are usually made from normal socket head cap screws. Offset one in the lathe chuck and turn a shoulder on it. It does not need a lot of offset since the idea is to start with it snugged up against the work.

I was looking for the web site where they showed how to make the clamps, and I found:

http://www.kipp.com/cms/wm?catId=18...etag= 04435 Low-profile Equal, Hex Cam Clamps

The website I was looking for showed a round clamp (not the hex) with a slightly raised tooth that would dig into softer metals. Same concept.

I also listed this on another forum, figuring someone had a need for it. Seems like everybody is buying a mill :D

This just sold on another forum.

What other forum? I'm always looking to expand my resources when it comes to machining.
