Kabible-I've got class all day tommorow but I'm hoping I can convince my room mate to mail our your light, it's a beauty!
Martonic-yes these are adjustable, when screwed down tight they should be at or a little past the tightest focus
RustyKnee-Got your PP, your order has been marked down

Excellent. Was wondering if I used the wrong address accidentally.

Cool news about the focusing too!

Re: FS/Signups: 1C Aspheric Maglites **ACCEPTING DOWN PAYMENTS**

I think it's due time for an update; finals have been killing me.
Kabible's was shipped last week;
As of tonight:
I have 12 heatsinks with P4's epoxied on
5 switches with boards potted
12 cutdown&rethreaded bodies
12 bored heads
12 lens spacers
30 high-quality lenses(i've managed to chip 3 due to extra-rough handling)
15 trimmed & bored tailcaps
all the custom heads done
3/4 of the stripping done

I'm waiting on the rest of the boards, and the tailswitching mags are giving me a little trouble(but not too much) and the extensions are a little trucky too(but not too tricky)

Got a couple built tonight, minus the GITD potting. Here's an obligatory 1.2A beamshot in the darkest(but still very well lit) field I could find. It was very foggy, so you can see the beam pattern well. The trees are roughly 200m from the camera, 15 second exposure; photoshop adjusted levels equally on both photos to bring out the skyline.

I'm still excited as ever!
I should probably go buy a battery for mine so I can play with it as soon as it arrives :p Wouldn't want to have to steal one from my ROP LE. Thanks for all the work you're putting into these lights.

Re: FS/Signups: 1C Aspheric Maglites **Now with beamshots**

Hi guys, got my 2 Aspheric Mags from Ryan last week, personally handed by him (sorry you got lost in TO for a bit Ryan). After playing around with the battery types, AW's 17500 works good with the stock C spring. I live in downtown Toronto, about a few hundred feet away from the CN Tower..and I say this light reached the top no problem even with Toronto's street and building lights on. The only thrower light I have is the D-Mini and blows it away at 300-400 feet...of course the Asperic Mag went further... Thanks Ryan!

Re: FS/Signups: 1C Aspheric Maglites **Now with beamshots**

I got the little blue meanie last night and will try to post links to some pictures ASAP. Let me start by saying that Ryan did a masterfull job here. Every modification detail was skillfully executed, rendering a really beautiful work of art. I was surprised by the GITD epoxy around the Cree. It's bright enough on its own to project a soft green glow through the lens that can actually be used for navigating in total darkness for about 5 minutes. After that, it's still visible for another 10-15 minutes. Nice touch. The super focused beam is so bright that my eyes get a temporary blind spot by just glancing at the bounce from the palm of my hand. The throw kicks butt! Only my HID Pyramid 2035 throws farther. Lastly, I have to give Ryan a special thankyou for locating a blue host M@g I had requested.

I'm very impressed. Top notch all the way! Thanks again Ryan.
