The light you haven't bought?

Said light looks good on paper and gets great reviews here. It's made by a manufacturer you trust and stocked by a dealer with whom you enjoy doing business. You like the UI and and it would check off a box on your list of needed (wanted :D) lights. It's within your budget, you have the cash, and your SO has approved the purchase. You've seen the videos and might even have handled one.

Yet you haven't forked over the dough.

For me it's the LF2XT. I should be all over it but for some reason I haven't ordered one. The UI is similar to my NiteCore. I like forward clickies. I don't have a AAA light. I'm unconcerned about the rumors that the light is about to be revamped. I can't think of a single reason not to buy one yet I haven't taken action.

What about you all? Which light haven't you jumped on?

The light that has made it into many virtual shopping carts, but I haven't ever clicked on "buy now" is the T1A TITAN. I even went to the Surefire manufacturing plant in Fountain Valley today and held it.
It sure has an excellent feel and a twist that was buttery smooth, with just the right amount of resistance.

Yet still I haven't bought it.

Now, tomorrow, that's another day

Easy one...

Eagletac M2C4 and ITP polestar. Great lights, great values. Strengths align well with my preferences. I have a hard time justifying spending that much dough on an LED light when new BINs and emitter packages are right around the corner.. every ~6 months...:mecry:

So I buy surefires at the top end of my range. The fit + finish is top-rate, they hold their resale value better than any other brand, and they can be modded so they will never be completely obsolete. I also buy mags and cheap DX junk that can also be modded to avoid obsolescence.

For me its the Surefire X300 weapon light. I dont have weapon light yet and it would be really neat to have this one but everytime im ready to buy it i decide its just as easy to hold a light rather than spend the money on it.

For me it's the Haiku ( either of them),yet for some reason I just can't pull the trigger. Not sure why.
:poke:
Maybe I 'm afraid it will be "too good" and render my others obsolete

Ra clicky executive for me. Built and quality is first rate. And last will be maelstrom S1200 and I'm done till 2011. :D

+1 on the OP's LF2XT. From everything I read, that is a great light. It's a mystery why I haven't gotten that one yet.

Also, the Malkoff M61 LED drop-in. I actually happened to visit the Malkoff website during the hour that the first run was selling & saw that they were in stock, but actually passed on the opportunity. The reviews weren't out yet and I already had a choice M60. I mean, I usually am pretty methodical and prefer to take my time when purchasing things, but now: :ohgeez:

The Quark AA Tactical.
Love the feel, looks like a perfect EDC for me. I don't have an AA EDC.
But somehow always always distracted by other lights. I have no idea why...

Sheesh. The lights I do buy don't even meet all those criteria.

I know exactly what you mean though. For me, it's (any) Malkoff dropin, and a Ti Lummi Wee. Haiku sort of makes the list, but it's pushing the "within budget" criterion.

Ra Clicky was on there, but I recently took care of that little deficiency. :D

Surefire LX2 - I have an E1B and E2DL, but the LX2 is still calling my name.
Lifeflux LF2XT - I hate inductor whine or I already would own one.
Quark - I hate pre-flash! Gave all my Fenix lights with pre-flash away to non flashaholics! I did break down and order the 123 and AA minis since they were not prone to preflash, but still not a full size quark.
McGizmo anything - While I have several lights in the $200.00 range, none in the $500.00 range. That's getting into gun prices there.... :)
Titaniaum anything - that will change

Jetbeam Jet-III M neutral - I can cross that one off the list since it should be showing up at my doorstep in the next day or so!

Well its not a torch itself, its a malkolf drop in for my 6P, I have wanted one since I got my 6P but there is always something else that pops up

money to spend.. if i had it i would of gotten them all.. even the ones i dont like so much..

but to stay with the original idea..

i also say +1 on the LF2XT. whine and delay/lag in use are my excuses.. and now the idea that my itp eos and quark mini are both shorter than it. but they are twisties and i want a cliky but i just somehow still havent been able to buy liteflux.

+1 on the Ra clicky. (when i was seriously looking at them i just couldnt find a vendor that wouldnt ask highway robbery price of 30 dollars for shipping to europe!)

ps.. have you noticed my old thread at "cafe" about lights that allured me to buy..

Surefire 9P. So much can be done to that light. Might keep it incan and get some LAs from Lumens Factory and throw on SF tac ring.

I've been putting it off for a while....but I have $150 in Cabela's gift cards...which I'll probably spend on a Minimus.:D

For me, it's the:

Fenix TA21 - I really like my control ring lights. Add to that the ability to use 18650's, a wide range of output levels, and an overall cool looking light, and I should have one on the way already. It hasn't called to me as much as others though.

Fenix MC10 - I've always wanted an anglelight, and I think the MC10 would be perfect for use on hikes and camping trips. Again, my money always goes somewhere else.
