I have a lot of lights. At the moment my favorite is the VIP. What makes this light great is not the light as it was delivered, it is what has become available on an after market basis. Things like the AA battery holder. The BH reflector head. The BBH head. Dan's tail switch unit. Twist on tail cap. Not to mention lithium rechargeable battery body's.
With all of these after market parts for the light I become the light designer. I get to choose what I want and put it together.

I have been sitting here and playing with this light I have got to tell you I have been having a lot of fun (That is what it is about right?) Today I have the light built with the Bulk head, AA tube and Dan's tail cap.
Totally unique light. In fact when I think about it the only part of this light that is original is the LED power module.
It is my hope that people will continue to develop parts for the VIP new and unique ways to improve on a good light.

You're right! Charlie built a great light and a great platform. The only reason I use my Arc 4 more is because its lowest setting is much dimmer, which is just what I need to save my night vision.
