These are very old, have had them since 2009. Rebadged eneloops, I already have brand new ones to replace them!

Although they may not be technically "dead" and may still hold a charge, do you think it's a good idea to rely on them for anything? Give them a decent burial. Go in peace, and find a more productive use for your time.

If those were mine and looking like that, even if they were still working, I would not trust them. Also, I have had a pack of Duracell NiHM's too, and they were so bad. Lasted about 15 months before they would barely even hold a charge anymore.
 
Duracell has been branding whatever NiMH they got hold of. Some lucky badges has been Eneloops, but most are cheap Chinese cells. Same with Sony, Varta and possibly others. The ones showed by the OP are ready for recycling.
 
Yeah, will be dropping them off for recycling today. These have been in use since I got them. Made in Japan with the same embossed date code which is hard to see now on the wrapper. Wore them out!
