But I'm gonna ask it. I have an Eagletac 3100mah battery that I charge with an XTAR. Going to get a 3400 Eagletac to feed my next flashlight purchase. Any problems charging them at the same time?

If they are charged separately (2 channel charger) GREAT! If they are charged in series, you'll kill one or both cells.

I have EagleTac 3100s and an Xtar WP2 II charger and I believe that the two channels are independant of each other, so you would be fine in that instance, is my thought.

No not at all as long as both bays are independently controlled.

You dont say what model of Xtar you have but i think they all have individual charging bays so no problems whatsoever :)

It's the WP2 II, which if I recall correctly has independent channels?

Yes, it is.

I've charged at 500mA, a 14500 in one bay and a 16340 in the other, but that's at the same charge rate. I wouldn't charge a 18650 at 500mA, although I could do one of those and even one of the others, at the same time, but I wouldn't do the smaller cells at 1A.

A 3100 and a 2600, or a 2900 and a 3400, no issues, but for time of charge.

Chris
