I lost my arc ls-h about a month ago and have been looking for it ever since but i never found it =(. I was thinking about buying a new one later on in the year but now Arc is gone.....

I found some LS's on a website I have never dealt with before. They emailed me today (per my query) to say they were in stock for $95.13 each and shipping to the USA would be about $15.00.

I don't know anything more about them, but it looks promising. (I just got another LS, an LS1, today from TAD Gear but they appear to be all gone now).

The Micra is a decent light, but nowhere near as pocketable as the LSH series. IMHO no-one sells a direct replacement for this flashlight yet.

Look at it this way Peter and folks- All the ARC lights that still work will REALLY be collector's items now-
Mauser 30 cal pistols which were made at the turn of the centry (1900) are the most valuable in the orginal form. Then in about 1910 they started "Improving them" (converted to 9mm) values dropped. So cherish your ARC and try not to lose one.

To be honest, I don't really like ARC. I got 2 ARC4 and simply gave away to others. But I still think the collapse of ARC is a BIG loss to this community. And Peter deserves better comment and treatment than this. BIG thanks to Peter. Gentlemen, please pay a bit more respect to our honourable member.

Desmondpun, why would you "give away" these expensive flashlights rather then return them within the 30 day satisifaction period?

As I've posted before, lots of competition in the Luxeon world but none as good as the Arc AAA in which I only have two of them. I bet there are a lot of people who complained that the $24.95 price was too high wished they were still available at that price.

EDIT: Let me elaborate a little bit.

I now realize the shallowness of my post, but I still stand by it...
Let's talk about my grandfather. He died about ten years ago due to complications of heart surgery. He is buried. If somebody were to talk poorly about him, well then go right ahead. Somebody who talks poorly of the dead, is just somebody who is downright disrespectful. I know my grandfather, and no matter what people might say about him, I know who he was. It won't change my view of my grandfather. Now maybe it would be nice for me to come to his defense. But then we're arguing about something that's dead, aren't we? Kinda silly isn't it?

Once something is buried, let's leave it buried. That's how it belongs.
