Hey guys, where can I get a wall charger for the Thor 10 million CP, my lovely wife loves to clean up after me and unpluged my wallcharger and now it's not to be found.

I would just pick up a 12V battery charger that has some kind of meter on it now more guessing if it's at full charge like with the wall wart.

If you don't want to take the battery out to give it a charge you should be able to find a DC power plug at Radio Shack that will fit then just hook up to that and you can use the charger on any 12V battery you have car, truck ,boat, lawn mower /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif

Well I still have the car charger so I just have to clip a cigarette recepticle charger to my deep cycle marine battery and plug in the car charger to that, I'm sure the wifes gonna love seeing the deep cyle battery and the charger for that sitting around.

well a lm 317t voltage regulator set to 13.8 volts and powered by the thor wall wart would work very nicely.

I don't think you lost much when you lost the Thor charger. I use one of these:

I bought one of those for my Thor, but it boiled my battery, so I stopped using it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif It wasn't a pleasent sound. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Sorry to hear that. I'll stop recommending them. I guess the quality control could be better. I've got three similar to this and they all work. One did need a solder repair to fix a LED that only lit up sporadically.

I always watch them the first time I use them with a voltmeter and an ampmeter. The voltage starts at less than 14 volts and slowly rises to about 14.6, then they switch to a float voltage of 13.3.

ragebattery.com has name brand automatic chargers but they cost several times as much. Both places sell simple float chargers that are cheaper. I suppose they put out a constant voltage of between 13.5 to 13.8 volts. Harder to go wrong with these, but they take longer to charge a battery.

I'm not mad at anybody, although I admit I am somewhat frustrated. I was recommended this charger, and judging by the website it looks perfect, but after only a few minutes of charging I can hear the battery crackling. My battery doesn't do that with the regular charger.

I don't know if I just got a dud, or if they are all like this, but I want people to be aware before they spend their money.

Well,...

that's one decision I was lucky on. The silly little chargers at the brick and mortar stores won (even thought they cost a little more). I like buying at those stores, because then you can go back and have someone to yell at.
