I just picked up a Thor today at a Costco in Houston, TX. They had about 20 left.

The 15 mcp will be a relabeled 10 mcp which is a relabeled 100,000 cp. None of them will go over 100 watts, since they are made in China. All non-sense.

Ignore them, it will, for 90% of typical usage.
The catch is if you run it a really long time, like 2 hours. The small wire running from the lighter socket to the Thor can only supply about 4-6 amps from the car battery so some of Thor’s internal battery is being used at the same time. It will actually run forever, but get dimmer as time goes on until the only power to the lamp is supplied by the lighter socket wire.
You could get a heavier wire from the battery and a beefier connection and it would run at full output for as long as the car battery has juice or the car is running.
Again, unless you’re running it constant for about 2 hours I don't see any problem.

For those who are still looking for a store that carries the thor, I noticed in this weekend's ad that Advance Auto Parts stores now carry them. In the ad, they were $48.
